Changelog

Every notable change to Convo, newest first.

A running log of what's new, improved, and fixed across Convo — the admin portal and the visitor experience. For the highlights in plain English, see What's new.

August 30, 2026

NewTours

Tour pages can now feature a narrated film in the hero — built from the tour's own photography and audio. When a visitor opens the tour listing, the film plays automatically so guests are drawn into the experience before they even press play.

August 25, 2026

ImprovedAudio

The stop preview in the admin portal now generates and plays narration immediately when you open it, even if audio has not been produced yet for that stop or language. Previously, opening a preview for an unrecorded or untranslated stop showed an explanation and an inactive player rather than playing the audio.

FixedPlayer

Several audio player corrections: switching the tour language now immediately replaces the playing audio with the correct language track. Stop numbers now correctly reflect a visitor's position among the published stops, preventing impossible displays such as 'STEP 5 OF 2'. The loading indicator now stays visible until audio actually begins, so visitors can see that their tap registered.

August 22, 2026

ImprovedStatus

Stops whose narration has not yet been generated no longer show an 'out of date' warning. These stops are ready for visitors and will produce audio automatically on first play.

ImprovedAudio

Translations you have manually uploaded for a stop will not be replaced by auto-generated translations when the tour is updated or regenerated. Auto-generated translations continue to refresh as expected.

FixedAudio

When audio playback encountered a problem mid-stream, the player would stall silently with no indication of what happened. Visitors now see a clear error message and can retry.

FixedPlayer

Narration now begins playing automatically as soon as it finishes generating, so visitors no longer need to press play a second time. If audio cannot load or play, a clear error message now appears with the option to try again, rather than leaving the player stopped with no explanation.

August 20, 2026

ImprovedPlayer

Opening a tour no longer triggers audio generation in the background for stops a visitor has not yet chosen to play. Narration is only created when a visitor actively requests it.

August 17, 2026

NewTours

You can now generate a tour directly from a listing URL. Paste the URL into the tour generator and the tour content is built from the listing automatically.

August 16, 2026

NewPlayer

Narration now streams on demand. When a visitor presses play, audio begins within about a second — there is no wait for a complete file to finish generating before sound starts. The language options shown in the tour reflect exactly which languages are available for that tour.

ImprovedAudio

Narration and translations are now generated the first time a visitor plays a stop, rather than all at once when you publish. Publishing is now instant and will no longer time out or fail partway through. Languages you have enabled but that no visitor plays will not incur generation costs. The previous limit on the number of languages a tour can support has been removed.

ImprovedAudio

Audio begins streaming to a visitor within about one second of pressing play, regardless of how long the script is — visitors no longer wait for an entire file to be prepared before playback starts.

August 12, 2026

FixedAnalytics

'Stops Played' figures in your analytics were overstated. Each time a visitor swiped away from a stop without listening, it counted as a play — so scrolling through the stop list could register a play for every stop skipped past. A play now requires at least three seconds of listening. Figures recorded before this date may be higher than actual listening activity; data going forward will reflect real engagement.

August 11, 2026

FixedTours

Assigning a contact to a tour now saves correctly. Previously, selecting a team member who had already been used as a contact appeared to work but the change was not saved, so the tour retained its previous contact.

FixedPlayer

Stop photos now pan smoothly without flickering or pulsing during audio playback.

FixedVisitor app

The contact card on an organisation's page now sits clearly apart from the tour listings, so visitors can easily tell it is a separate section.

August 10, 2026

NewTours

Real-estate tours can now display a named contact person — including their details and a direct enquiry form — so visitors always know who to reach out to. Museum tours are unaffected; this surface does not appear for museum or gallery organisations.

ImprovedTeam

Managing your people is now simpler and in one place. The separate 'People' page has been removed — members and their contact details are handled together within the 'Team' section. Contacts are now linked directly to a team member rather than existing as standalone entries, and your organisation's default contact can be set in 'Settings' under the organisation section.

ImprovedInbox

The 'Leads' section has been renamed to 'Inbox.' The previous name was borrowed from sales contexts; 'Inbox' better describes what this section actually is — a place to read the questions and messages your visitors have sent in.

ImprovedImages

The images panel for tours and stops has been redesigned as a single, ordered grid. Cover images, gallery images, and visitor-facing previews previously appeared as separate stacked sections; they are now unified so you can see and arrange all images in one view.

FixedTours

Unlisted tours are now fully hidden from your organisation's tour listing and from search results. Previously, an unlisted tour could still be discovered through the public listing or search even though opening it directly required the private share link.

August 9, 2026

NewTours / Stops

Tours and stops each have a new dedicated 'Images' tab for uploading, reordering, and removing multiple photos. All image management is now in one consistent place, replacing the previous single-cover uploader.

NewTeam

A new 'People' section in Settings lets you create reusable contact profiles with a name, title, phone number, email, photo, and website link. Assign a saved contact to any tour so you do not need to re-enter their details each time. The Leads page now also shows which contact each visitor enquiry was directed to.

NewTours

Floor plans can now be attached to an individual tour rather than to the whole venue. Each tour can carry its own map, which is useful when different listings or exhibitions occupy separate spaces.

NewPlayer

Audio now advances to the next stop automatically when one finishes, so visitors can continue listening hands-free without taking their phone out.

NewPlayer

Stop artwork now slowly pans and zooms while narration plays, keeping the image engaging throughout longer audio stops.

ImprovedPromotion

Printed signage and QR-code kit copy now uses vocabulary suited to your type of organisation. Real estate teams will see listing-appropriate language across all generated assets rather than museum-specific phrasing.

ImprovedAccount

Custom branding — your accent colour and logo on visitor-facing surfaces — is now part of the Institution plan. Organisations on that plan can continue using it as before.

ImprovedExhibitions

You can now choose to keep a past exhibition visible to visitors after its close date rather than having it hidden automatically. This is useful for evergreen or travelling shows that remain relevant beyond their scheduled run.

ImprovedGallery

The tour's cover photo now appears first when visitors open the image gallery, so the image shown on the tour page is always the first one they see inside the gallery.

ImprovedExhibitions

Venues can now choose to keep a past exhibition visible to visitors after it ends — useful when a touring show has moved on, when printed QR codes are still in circulation, or when the venue wants to maintain an archive. Ending a show still hides it from visitor pages by default.

FixedAccount

Organisation-level AI default settings are now applied correctly to new tours. Previously, settings saved in this section had no effect.

FixedLeads

The Leads table now displays with the correct card background, row highlighting, and selection styling.

FixedAnalytics

Listening time totals and audio-completion counts are now accurate. Previously, listening time included periods when audio was paused, overstating totals, and a completion was recorded whenever a visitor skipped to the very end of a track as well as when they listened through naturally. Both figures are correct going forward. Historical records captured before this fix will show higher-than-actual listening time and completion counts, and those figures have not been retroactively adjusted.

FixedAnalytics

Listening time is now measured directly from audio playback rather than the device clock. Previously, time continued to accumulate even when no audio was actually playing — for example when a device's operating system paused audio for a backgrounded tab, during buffering delays, or after a visitor seeked to a new position in the audio. Listening time figures going forward will be lower and more accurate. Data recorded before 9 August 2026 reflects the overcounted figures and has not been recalculated.

August 8, 2026

ImprovedPlayer

The audio player now uses a single continuous layout. Artwork and transcript share the same space and animate smoothly between states as you switch between them, with playback controls always pinned at the bottom of the screen.

ImprovedTours

The 'Start tour' button now appears immediately below the tour title, above the fold on a phone, so the primary action is always reachable without scrolling. A new walkthrough list lets visitors see and jump to any stop in the tour from the tour page.

ImprovedVisitor app

Buttons throughout the visitor app now use the same burgundy accent colour as the venue dashboard, giving visitors a consistent look as they move between the two. The header is also simplified to the Convo wordmark plus share, language, and account controls.

FixedTours

Tour prices above 32,767 now save correctly. Previously, entering a higher value — such as a property asking price — caused the save to fail and the price to be stored as 0.

FixedVisitor app

Several interaction issues are resolved: tapping a text input on mobile no longer causes the page to zoom in unexpectedly; the keyboard no longer covers the input field when it opens; and the image lightbox now works correctly on desktop browsers.

FixedPlayer

Playback progress is now reliably saved as visitors listen. Previously, position within a stop was not being recorded, so returning visitors always restarted each stop from the beginning rather than resuming where they left off.

August 7, 2026

NewAccount

The admin portal now uses terminology matched to your type of organisation. Real estate teams will see labels such as 'Listings', 'Rooms', and 'Buyers' throughout the interface in place of the default museum vocabulary.

NewTours

Each tour now has a Contact section where you can add a named person's title, phone number, email, photo, and website — for example a listing agent or curator. Visitors can reach out via those channels directly, and any enquiry they submit is recorded in a new 'Leads' page in your admin portal. Each lead includes the visitor's stated intent and context, a status field you can update as you follow up, and an email notification sent to you when a new lead arrives.

NewFiles

A new 'Import from link' button on the Context page lets you add a reference file by pasting a public URL. The page content is fetched and saved automatically, with an optional setting to also capture images from the page for richer AI context.

NewPlayer

The transcript now follows along as audio plays. The current passage is highlighted as narration progresses, making it easy for visitors to read and listen at the same time without losing their place.

NewTours

Tour image galleries are now available to visitors. When a tour includes gallery photos, a photo count badge appears on the hero image; tapping it opens a full-screen browsable gallery.

NewTours

Unlisted tours now require the venue's private link to open. Visitors who arrive without it see a clear explanation rather than a generic error. Venue staff can always preview unlisted tours directly.

NewExplore

The visitor app's home page is now built around search. Visitors can search by tour name, stop name, or venue, and a 'Resume' chip lets returning visitors pick up where they left off without hunting for their tour.

NewVisitor app

The ask, voice, and scan controls are now in a single consistent dock at the bottom of every page — venue, site, item, and tour — so visitors always know where to find them.

ImprovedStops

Reordering stops in a tour is now significantly faster. Previously, dragging a stop triggered a separate save for every stop in the list; the change now saves in a single action regardless of tour length. A new bulk reorder mode is also available, letting you move multiple stops at once.

ImprovedTours

When a public tour is no longer available, visitors now see a message that explains the situation rather than a generic 'not found' error — more helpful for someone holding last season's printed guide or standing outside a property.

ImprovedContact

The contact sheet is reorganised by intent: immediate options such as call and text appear when the venue has a phone number configured, and a message form is available for questions that can wait. Only channels the venue has set up are shown.

ImprovedTours

Real estate tours now use property-specific language throughout the visitor experience: 'Rooms & Spaces' instead of 'Stops', 'Ask about this home' instead of 'Ask the guide', and a contact byline for the listing agent.

FixedExhibitions

Ended exhibitions no longer appear on venue and item pages. Previously, a show past its close date continued to display with a 'PAST' badge and remained accessible via a live detail page.

FixedVisitor app

Tapping the header logo now always keeps visitors within the venue they are browsing, regardless of whether the venue has uploaded a logo.

August 5, 2026

FixedChat

Visitor chat no longer intermittently shows a 'Sorry, something went wrong' message when asking questions. Responses now come through reliably on all tour and collection chats.

August 4, 2026

FixedAnalytics

QR source analytics data now loads correctly on the analytics page.

FixedChat

Visitor chat now responds correctly for all tours and collection pages. Previously, visitors could receive a 'not found' error when starting or continuing a chat session.

August 3, 2026

ImprovedAI

AI-generated scripts and tour descriptions now use an updated model, producing more natural and visitor-ready prose.

FixedTours

'Generate Audio & Publish' from the tours list now completes successfully. The stops table also shows a live generating status while audio is being produced, so you can follow progress without refreshing the page.

FixedFloor Plans

Reordering floor plan levels now saves correctly. Previously, dragging levels into a new order appeared to succeed but the change was not applied.

FixedVoice

Visitor voice questions are now transcribed accurately in noisy environments. Background noise that previously caused garbled transcripts no longer affects what is sent to the AI.

FixedInsights

Visitor sessions that end when the visitor closes the chat while the AI is still responding are now correctly recorded as completed conversations rather than errors in your insights view.

FixedVoice

Voice conversation records in the Q&A log now capture complete questions and full answers. Previously, transcripts could be cut off mid-sentence, and answers could be saved as blank if the visitor closed the voice panel before the response had finished speaking.

August 2, 2026

FixedTours

Several fixes to tour variants: the variant label is now hidden on a tour that has no other versions in its group; deleting the last remaining variant restores the surviving tour to standalone status; and a 'Delete tour' option with a confirmation step is now available from the tour detail menu.

July 31, 2026

FixedFiles

Deleting an organisation, tour, or stop now removes all associated uploaded files. Previously, source files and floor plans were retained in storage even after their parent record was deleted.

FixedTours

Moving a tour from Draft to Review no longer requires every field to be complete. Full validation now runs only at publish time, so you can stage an in-progress tour for a colleague to review without filling in every stop first.

July 30, 2026

FixedPlayer

The venue's own logo and name now always appear correctly in the tour page header. Previously, a signed-in org member viewing another venue's tour could see their own organisation's branding there instead.

July 28, 2026

FixedTours

Tour and stop pages now load reliably while a large translation-and-voice job is running. Previously, starting a bulk job could cause unrelated pages in the portal to return errors until the job finished.

July 27, 2026

NewTours

You can now create audience versions of a tour — for example 'For Families', 'In Depth', or 'Easy Read' — from the tour menu. Each version starts as a complete copy and is fully independent from that point, so edits to one version do not affect the others.

NewTours

When a tour offers multiple versions for different audiences, visitors are now shown a 'How would you like to hear this tour?' prompt so they can choose the version that suits them best before they start.

FixedAudio

The audio preview player no longer flashes a loading spinner or resets playback position while a translation-and-voice job is running in the background.

FixedChat

Visitor chat at stops is working again. Questions and responses now load and display correctly.

FixedAccount

Logging in and navigating the portal now reliably preserves your session. Previously, certain redirects could discard your login and return you to the sign-in page.

FixedPlayer

Visitors no longer lose their session when their login token expires mid-visit. The app now refreshes the session silently, so chat history and any in-progress tour activity are preserved.

July 26, 2026

NewLanguages

You can now set the language your scripts are written in — your organisation's source language. Choose it during onboarding or change it later from Language Settings. Once set, AI script generation, the in-stop script assistant, visitor chat starter questions, and translation all follow that choice. Uploaded audio recordings are also now correctly recognised as being in your source language.

FixedTeam

Staff members who receive an invitation to join an existing organisation now see their pending invitation on the welcome screen, rather than being offered only the option to create a new organisation.

FixedLanguages

Tour content now displays correctly in the visitor's language regardless of what language the content was originally authored in. Venues whose content is authored in languages other than English will now have it translated and rendered properly for every visitor.

July 24, 2026

NewStops

Each stop now has a 'Preview' button and a 'QR Code' tab in its detail drawer. 'Preview' opens the visitor experience cued to that exact stop, and the QR code tab lets you download a code that links visitors directly to it.

ImprovedStops

The stops table now shows English script status and translation status in separate columns, evaluated independently. A freshly generated English draft is never incorrectly marked 'Out of date' simply because translations have not been run yet.

ImprovedTours

The generation progress banner now appears immediately as soon as a generation run is active. Tours with 60 or more stops now generate reliably and significantly faster, with better error recovery if individual stops hit a transient issue.

July 23, 2026

NewAnalytics

A new QR Scans metric is now shown in Analytics, derived from the attribution stamps baked into QR codes generated on the Promotion tab. The metric is fully retroactive, so historical scans appear immediately with no extra setup.

NewTours

Tour generation now runs as a reliable background job instead of a single time-limited request. Large tours no longer fail partway through, and a live progress banner shows how many stops have been scripted and voiced while you wait.

ImprovedAnalytics

Your visitor analytics now automatically exclude activity from your own team members, so the play counts, session data, and top-tour rankings reflect real visitors only.

ImprovedTours

Before drafting begins, the AI now plans a variety of opening styles across all stops in the tour. Stops no longer all start with the same phrase or sentence structure.

FixedAccount

If you accidentally signed in with the wrong account during setup, you were previously stuck with no way to go back. The onboarding screen now lets you sign out cleanly — using the 'Back' button on the first step — so you can restart with the correct account.

FixedAccount

Signing out now revokes access to the portal immediately on that device.

July 22, 2026

NewTours

A banner now appears on the tour page whenever one or more stops have outdated audio or translations, with a one-click option to regenerate everything. A live progress indicator shows how far along the bulk update is, and a clear success message appears when it finishes.

NewOnboarding

A 'Getting started' checklist now appears in the left navigation, walking new teams through their first tour — create and publish a tour, read and edit your scripts, bring translations and audio up to date, listen to your stops, and print your signage. Steps tick themselves off automatically as you complete them, and the card can be collapsed or dismissed once you're up and running.

NewStops

You will now see a confirmation warning before moving a published stop back to draft or review. Because pulling a live stop removes it from the tour immediately, the warning gives you a chance to reconsider before any visiting guests are affected.

NewTours

The same confirmation warning now appears before changing a published tour's status back to draft or review, preventing the tour from being pulled mid-visit by accident.

NewAccount

Staff members can now jump directly to the Convo Admin panel from the user menu in the visitor app — no need to navigate separately.

ImprovedAccount

The sign-in page has a refreshed design: a full two-panel layout on desktop with larger, clearer headings, and a compact branded header on mobile.

FixedAccount

Signing in no longer drops you into a repeated sign-out loop.

FixedPlayer

Long stop names now wrap across up to 3 lines in the stop list instead of being cut off, so visitors can read the full name of every stop.

July 21, 2026

NewVisitor Voice

Venue, tour, and exhibition pages now show a 'What visitors are wondering' feed of popular questions other guests have asked, so visitors can browse the topics people are most curious about.

ImprovedAnalytics

Listening time is now recorded even when a visitor closes the browser tab or leaves a stop before it finishes, so Minutes Listened reflects actual visitor engagement rather than only counting stops that played all the way through.

FixedAnalytics

The minutes-listened chart now shows consistent numbers everywhere — the axis, tooltip, and summary tiles all agree. Listening time from visitors who didn't finish a stop is also captured now, so your totals more accurately reflect real engagement.

FixedVisitor Voice

Questions asked at individual stops now correctly display the stop's artwork thumbnail, name, and a direct link to that stop — previously these rows showed a striped placeholder and only linked to the overall tour.

July 20, 2026

NewSupport

A floating 'Ask Convo' chat widget is now available on every page of the admin portal. You can ask questions about how Convo works and get instant answers drawn from our help documentation, without leaving what you're doing.

NewInsights

Visitor questions are now automatically reviewed and curated after each chat interaction — filtering out personal details, off-topic messages, and duplicates — so the questions surfaced in your insights feed are clean, meaningful, and ready to act on.

NewVisitor app

Stops and player now show popular questions other visitors have asked, so guests can instantly explore the topics that interest people most.

NewPlayer

Visitors can now tap stop artwork to open a full-screen lightbox view for a closer look at images.

ImprovedAccount

Team members and new users now see an explicit Terms of Service and Privacy Policy agreement step during sign-up and when accepting an invitation, making consent clear and on record.

ImprovedVisitor app

Several accessibility improvements to the audio player and surrounding interface, found during a formal accessibility audit, have been applied — making the experience more usable for visitors who rely on screen readers or keyboard navigation.

FixedVisitor app

Text and control borders now remain clearly readable when a museum uses a custom brand colour — previously, certain dark background themes caused some labels and field outlines to have insufficient contrast, making them hard to read.

FixedPlayer

Playback speed no longer resets to normal (1×) when moving to the next stop — the speed a visitor chose now stays in effect throughout the whole tour.

FixedPlayer

The audio player, chat, and voice panels now fill the full screen correctly on iPhones, so content is no longer cut off behind the browser toolbar.

July 19, 2026

NewFiles

When uploading a file you can now pick an existing file from your library instead of re-uploading it — selecting one links it to the chosen tours straight away.

NewVisitor app

Scanning a QR code printed on a stop chip now opens the tour directly to that stop — the stop is pre-selected and the player appears ready to play, so visitors don't have to scroll through the stop list to find it.

ImprovedPublishing

Printed QR-code signage now defaults to a white background, saving ink for organisations that haven't set a custom brand colour. Custom brand colours still appear as before.

ImprovedStops

The interface for suggesting and reviewing stop proposals has been streamlined — both the tour generator and the individual stop creator now share the same clean layout, making it easier to add instructions, generate suggestions, and manage the resulting list.

ImprovedLanguages

The visitor app now shows its buttons, labels, and prompts (such as 'Ask the guide') in the visitor's own language across all 40 supported languages — previously these UI elements stayed in English even when a visitor switched to Portuguese, Japanese, Catalan, and many others. A progress indicator is also shown while the language is switching, and the language picker is now searchable.

FixedInsights

Automated AI insights and visitor Q&A processing now run on schedule, so your insights dashboard and Q&A summaries update regularly.

FixedTours

Translations are now generated correctly for every enabled language. Narration produced before this date in languages other than Spanish and Chinese may be lower quality — regenerate those stops to pick up the improvement.

July 18, 2026

NewTeam

Account owners can now transfer ownership of their organisation to another team member directly from Team Settings. The previous owner is automatically reassigned the Admin role.

NewTours

When building a tour you can now ask the AI to suggest a list of stops based on your uploaded reference files, then keep, rename, or remove any suggestion before generating — or simply type how many stops you want and let the generator fill them in.

ImprovedAnalytics

Anonymous visitors (those who never log in) are now counted in your unique-visitor totals, giving you a more complete picture of actual tour attendance.

FixedAccount

The sign-in and invite-acceptance forms no longer get stuck waiting for bot-protection verification.

July 17, 2026

NewPublishing

A new Promotion tab in Settings gives you a ready-to-use signage kit for each tour. You can download print-ready PDFs in four formats — A-frame poster, gallery poster, table tent, and a stop chip sheet — along with copy snippets and a launch checklist to help you get your tour in front of visitors.

July 16, 2026

ImprovedVisitor app

When browsing a museum's exhibitions or tour stops, the museum's logo and name now appear in the page header, and the background colour matches the museum's brand — making the experience feel fully part of the museum rather than a third-party app.

FixedAccount

Address suggestions from Google Places now work properly when typing in dialogs — previously they appeared but could only be selected with the keyboard. Clicking a suggestion now works as expected.

July 15, 2026

NewAccount

Organizations with multiple physical locations can now manage each venue separately. Content, publishing, and analytics are scoped per venue, so a brand operating several sites (e.g. Amsterdam, Barcelona, and London) can keep everything neatly separated under one account. Single-venue organizations see no change.

NewAccount

You can now set a brand accent color for your organization (Settings → Organization → Brand). The color is applied to your visitor-facing tour pages, giving guests a more on-brand experience.

NewVisitor app

Multi-venue organisations now have a dedicated page for each of their venues. Visitors scanning a QR code at a specific location see that venue's cover, exhibitions, tours, and a guided chat — all in one place.

NewVisitor app

Visitor pages now reflect each museum's own branding: the museum's logo replaces the Convo mark, and the accent colour chosen by the museum is applied throughout, giving guests a seamless on-brand experience.

July 11, 2026

ImprovedTours & Stops

Export options are now available directly from stop row menus and the bulk-action toolbar on the stops page, replacing the previous audio-only download option with the full Export action.

July 10, 2026

NewTours & Stops

You can now export a tour or individual stops as a ZIP file containing scripts for each language, audio files, images, and a metadata summary. The export also includes a Bloomberg Connects mapping file, making it easy to hand off content for Bloomberg Connects integrations. A staleness indicator in the manifest flags any content that may be out of date.

July 7, 2026

ImprovedChat

Visitor text chat now maintains context across the full conversation, so follow-up questions are answered with awareness of what was already discussed rather than treating each message as a fresh query.

ImprovedVisitor app

Accessibility improvements across the visitor app now meet WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA standards, making the experience work better for visitors using screen readers, keyboard navigation, or other assistive technologies.

FixedFiles

Text files in the file drawer now display in a properly sized, scrollable view instead of stretching the page, and file contents load correctly without errors.

June 23, 2026

NewAudio

Send a private contributor link to an artist, curator, or subject-matter expert so they can record or upload narration for a specific stop — no Convo account needed. Generate the link from the stop page and share it directly; their recording is attached to the stop once submitted.

NewFiles

You can now paste or type text directly into the file upload dialog instead of uploading a file. Great for adding notes, descriptions, or any reference content without needing to create a separate document first.

NewFiles

Text-based reference files (including anything you've pasted in) can now be edited directly inside the file drawer — just make your changes and save, without re-uploading.

ImprovedStops

The audio upload/record control is now visible on brand-new blank stops, so you can upload or record narration straight away — the audio will be transcribed and used to fill in the script automatically.

ImprovedAccessibility

The visitor app now meets WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA accessibility standards. Screen readers receive proper labels and live announcements throughout the audio player, chat, voice, and sign-in screens; color contrast has been improved across the interface; and full keyboard navigation is supported throughout the app.

FixedStops

Newly created stops now appear instantly in your tour and open automatically for editing — no more needing to refresh the page to see them.

June 22, 2026

NewAudio

You can now upload a real human recording as the narration for any stop. On the stop page, use the new Audio menu to upload an audio file; it is automatically transcribed and set as the stop's script, so translations and voices in other languages update from it just like normal.

June 19, 2026

ImprovedLanguages

The app tagline is now translated into all supported languages rather than always appearing in English.

FixedVisitor app

A network hiccup or an app update no longer leaves visitors on a blank error screen. The app now detects the problem and reloads automatically.

June 17, 2026

NewLanguages

Tour names, stop names, and descriptions are now automatically translated into visitor languages when you publish a tour, so visitors always see content in their preferred language without any extra steps.

NewLanguages

The entire visitor interface — buttons, menus, labels, and the explore page — now automatically appears in the visitor's browser language. French, German, Spanish, Italian, and English are supported, with no action needed from guests. QR code links continue to work as before.

June 13, 2026

FixedBilling

Welcome emails are no longer sent twice when subscribing with a card.

June 12, 2026

NewBilling

You can now cancel or resume your plan directly from the Plan & Billing tab without visiting the Stripe portal.

NewFiles

Clicking a file now opens a slide-out drawer with preview, details, and actions — consistent with the Tours and Collection experience.

NewLanguages

The supported language catalog has expanded from 11 to 40 languages, including right-to-left languages like Arabic and Hebrew.

NewCollection

Large CSV imports are now processed in chunks with a live progress bar, so big collections import reliably without timing out. You can also mark items as scannable during import.

NewTours

Exhibitions are now searchable and navigable from the command palette (⌘K / Ctrl+K).

NewExhibitions

When creating a tour from an exhibition, you can now set the tour name before it's created (defaults to the exhibition name).

NewLanguages

The app now supports 40 languages. Tours written in right-to-left languages (such as Arabic or Hebrew) now display with the correct right-to-left text layout.

ImprovedStops

Creating a new stop now opens it directly in the slide-out drawer, and clicking any stop on the All Stops page opens the drawer instead of navigating away.

ImprovedChat

Guide answers now display formatted text correctly — bold, italic, bullet lists, and links appear as intended instead of showing raw punctuation marks.

FixedBilling

The Studio plan's tour limit now counts only published tours, not drafts — unpublishing a tour correctly frees a slot for a new one.

FixedFiles

Files with special characters (accents, dashes, non-Latin characters) in their names can now be previewed and downloaded without errors.

FixedExhibitions

The Exhibitions table no longer stretches past the viewport when an exhibition has a long name or description.

FixedAnalytics

Visitor analytics events are now recorded correctly for both anonymous and signed-in visitors. Figures from before this date may undercount visitor activity.

FixedMaps

Stops can now be removed from the floor-plan map correctly, and dragging markers to reposition them is more responsive.

FixedAccount

The language picker during onboarding now scrolls within a fixed-height box so the Back and Continue buttons are always reachable.

FixedBilling

Upgrading to a paid plan no longer fails at checkout.

FixedPlayer

Resuming a tour no longer causes audio to briefly restart from the beginning before jumping to the saved position.

FixedAccount

The sign-in screen no longer gets stuck on the verification step — it now recovers on its own.

FixedPlayer

The 'Read in full' link for stop transcripts is now always shown, and the chat panel no longer has an unwanted gap between the header and the message list.

June 11, 2026

NewAnalytics

Analytics and the activity log now track exhibition views and collection item views alongside tour and stop events.

ImprovedInsights

Collection item rows in the Q&A Audit now show the item's image thumbnail for easier identification.

ImprovedPlayer

Tours stop serving to visitors once an account is deactivated or lapses, so QR codes no longer lead to live content.

FixedStops
